On a summer vacation we fell in love with Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We spent 10 days fly fishing mountain lakes and streams, hiking, mountain biking and enjoying all that downtown Pagosa Springs had to offer. Dining, shopping and best of all the hot springs! We were also in town during a holiday week and we were pleasantly surprised that everything wasn’t crowded like it was where we were from in Arizona. We went back to Arizona and decided to sell our home and move to CO full time! We love to be outdoors and Colorado has plenty of opportunities to do that year round from fishing, hunting, hiking, downhill and cross country skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling and horseback riding! Colorado is definitely the place to be if you love to be outdoors and you love wildlife! We have come to call living here our second childhood! Christine grew up in Illinois and spent many winters listening to the radio to see if school would be cancelled so she could play outside in the snow! Now she’s playing in the snow again with our Golden Retriever Emmy – a young puppy that never wants to come inside! We are thinking we should have named her Snowball.
Tony grew up in Arizona and after 57 years was ready for the change that Pagosa Springs has to offer. Our family loves to come and visit us – especially our grandkids! We never get tired of how beautiful the San Juan Mountains are! The beauty of Colorado is hard to capture by pictures! Come see for yourself what all it has to offer. You may find that you catch the Pagosa bug and just can’t picture living anywhere else! We have met so many people that this has happened to! Just let us know when you are going to be in town because we would love to show you around!
